Where do I check in when I arrive at the campsite?

 

When you arrive at the campsite go straight to reception.  There you will receive all the information you need and will be shown to your accommodation.

How much is the deposit I will have to pay at the campsite?

 

The deposit varies from € 100 to € 200 according to the village you have chosen.  The entire deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay as long as your accommodation is left in excellent condition.  When organizing your departure you should remember that our staff will have to inspect your accommodation before you can check-out.

How can I pay the deposit?

 

It is possible to pay the deposit in cash and, in some cases, using a credit card.  The booking office will be pleased to answer any of your questions.

Can I park my car next to my accommodation?

 

It is possible to park your car next to the accommodation in nearly all our structures.  If you want to park a second car next to your accommodation, you will have to contact the campsite directly.  A small daily supplement will be charged for a second vehicle as listed in the “prices” section of our website.

Am I allowed to place a small tent next to my accommodation?

 

That will be at the discretion of each campsite. Some campsites will allow you to do this, at an extra charge.

What are the campsite’s arrival and departure times?

 

Normally guests should arrive between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. and depart between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 p.m.  The exact times are given in the booking confirmation.

Can I hire bed linen?

 

Blankets and pillows are already provided inside the accommodation.  You should contact the structure’s booking office about sheets because it may be necessary to book them in advance in the high season.

Are barbecues allowed in the campsite?

 

Electric or gas barbecues are generally permitted and some of our villages provide communal stone barbecue facilities.  Coal barbecues are, however, forbidden as they constitute a fire hazard.

Is it possible to put a cot in one of the bedrooms?

 

The space between the beds is not wide enough for a cot. However, a cot or crib can be placed in the living room area.

Which languages are spoken by the campsite staff?

 

The campsite staff is multilingual.  To find out more information, please contact the structure you have selected directly.

Are all the campsite services open for the summer season?

 

The main services are open all season long.  However, some of them may not be available or may be available for shorter hours during the low season.

Are there any restrictions regarding the swimming pool?

 

There are no particular restrictions regarding the swimming pools in the ECV villages, apart from the normal rules of hygiene and behavior.  Guests should, however, remember that each campsite has its own swimming pool rules which should be carefully read on site.

Do I have to clean my accommodation before leaving the campsite?

 

The accommodation should be left clean and in the same condition in which it was handed over at the beginning of your stay.  Once our staff has checked the accommodation, the deposit you paid upon checking in will be returned to you.  In some structures there is a final cleaning service at an additional cost of € 35 to be paid on site.  For more details, please check the “prices” page on our website.

How safe is the campsite?

 

Each campsite has a 24/7 surveillance service.  Some campsites will ask you to wear a bracelet or will give you a Pass to show when you enter the structure in order to prove you are a guest.
With regard to your personal effects, safe-deposit boxes are available on site.  You can find out more information from the booking office of the structure you have selected.

Which services are available in the campsite pitches?

 

All the pitches have access to water and electricity, both of which are included in the price.  Our guests can use the modern toilet facilities, hot showers and, in some villages, children’s play area, at no extra cost.

Is there Internet access?

 

All our campsites have convenient Internet points and many also have Wi-Fi coverage.

Are there any activities for children?

 

Our entertainment team organizes daily activities for children aged between 4 and 12 years at the Norcenni Girasole Club, Camping Village Park Albatros, I Pini Family Park, Altomincio Family Park and Camping Fabulous.  Please visit our website www.elitekids.it for more details about our entertainment programs.

Is there any difference between an Internet booking and a telephone booking?

 

There is no price difference between on-line and telephone bookings.

Can I book by telephone?

 

Yes, it is possible to book by telephone and confirm the booking later in writing.

Can I book a pitch for a tent 2 weeks before arrival?

 

Yes, although obviously the booking will be subject to availability.

Can I change my booking?

 

Yes, you can make changes to your booking if the dates you want are available.  Please contact the booking office of the structure selected.

I have made a mistake on my on-line booking.  Can I cancel it?

 

Yes, by immediately informing the booking office of the structure you have booked, it is possible to cancel the booking at no extra cost.

Can I make a group booking so that all our friends can be together?

 

Upon booking, it is possible to request that you and your friends stay in the same area.  This is not, however, always possible, so you should check the availability of the accommodation when booking.

How old is the accommodation?

 

None of the ECV accommodation is more than 5 years old, whereas some of the apartments in Villa Norcenni, Figline Valdarno, were completely renovated in 2011.

Can I book baby equipment?

 

It is possible to request a “baby set”, consisting of a cot, high chair and bathtub, at our Camping Villages and Family Park when you make your booking.  Once you arrive at the structure, you will be asked to pay a deposit of € 80.  The cost of a “baby set” is € 15 per stay.  The “baby set” does not include crib and bed linen.

Can I bring my pet? If I can, can I bring more than one?

 

One or more pets are allowed in all our structures although there are some restrictions based on the type of accommodation.  There is an extra charge for pets and, in some cases, the final cleaning cost can vary up to a maximum of € 60.

Are your campsites equipped for disabled guests?

 

Not all our campsites are equipped for disabled guests.  To find out more, please contact the booking office of the structure you have chosen.

When will I receive confirmation and my receipt?

 

Normally within 48 hours from when the booking is made.

When is it possible to cancel a booking?

 

You can cancel your booking at any time.  Our booking office will provide you with all the necessary information regarding our cancellation policy.

Where can I find the ECV proposals for comfortable mobile homes, villa apartments and pitches?

 

We have a wide range of reasonably priced accommodation in each of our structures located in Venice, Rome, Tuscany and Lake Garda.  Out of respect for the surrounding environment, there are no mobile homes or bungalows at the Camping Michelangelo in Florence, just comfortable pitches.  It is also possible to hire a tent on site.

What type of accommodation does ECV offer?

 

ECV offers comfortable, fully equipped mobile homes, bungalows and villa apartments as well as shady pitches for tents, motor homes and caravans.

On which days can you arrive and depart when you book with ECV?

 

You can choose which day you would like to arrive. However, in some cases you may be asked to adjust your dates slightly so as to maximise occupation of our accommodation.

Do I have to stay in ECV accommodation for a minimum number of nights?

 

The minimum number of nights varies according to the time of year.
It can vary from a minimum of one to a maximum of seven nights during the high season.

Can I insure my vacation?

 

With Elite Club Vacanze you can insure your trip, guaranteeing the peace and security of a hitch-free vacation! By insuring your vacation you will be able to use additional services such as on-site assistance, reimbursement of medical expenses, reimbursement in the case of cancellation (within the relevant terms and conditions), and much more.  In collaboration with Europ Assistance.

According to the booking engine there is no availability, does that mean that you are already fully booked?

 

Not all the places available are entered in our booking engine because our accommodation is also sold through other channels such as tour operators.  Send an e-mail to the booking office to check all availability in our villages.

Where can I fill in the questionnaire and give my opinions about my holiday?

 

Once you have returned home you will receive an on-line questionnaire where you can give your comments and any suggestions about improving our service.  For this reason, it is important to leave us your e-mail address when you check-in at the village.

Can I book for next year?  If yes, how?

 

Yes, you can contact the booking office to “block” the structure for next year.  When you book you will be asked to pay a deposit of € 100.  When the prices for the next year are published, you can decide whether to confirm or cancel your booking.  If you decide to cancel your booking, we will return the deposit paid.

Can I automatically receive the new Elite Club Vacanze catalogue?

 

You can download the ECV catalogue and attached price list directly from our website.  Or you can request it by mail directly from the structure you have selected.

How can I pay?

 

Once you have made the booking you will be asked to pay a deposit by credit card or bank transfer.  Twenty days before your vacation begins, you will receive a reminder to pay the balance.  If you book around 10 weeks before your arrival, you will be asked to pay the relevant amount in full.

How much is the deposit?

 

The deposit normally corresponds to 30% of the total, but can vary according to the structure. To find out more, please contact the booking office.

When do I have to pay the rest of the bill?

 

When you arrive at the village.

Will I receive details about how to reach the campsite?

 

The descriptions and GPS coordinates are available on the ECV website, just click on “Where are we”.

What do I need to bring for my vacation?

 

The mobile homes provide equipment for a maximum of 6 people.  Therefore, you only need to bring tea towels, towels and bed linen although, in nearly all of our structures, the latter two can be rented on site.  Insect repellent may also be useful during the summer months.

Which travel documents do I need?

 

A valid identity document is required for all members of the family.  Also, if you are traveling with a minor who is not a member of your family, you should bring a letter from his/her parents or guardian.
If you are traveling by car, you should remember to bring all the necessary travel documents which should be valid in Italy and the compulsory road safety kit.
You should also remember to bring all the medication and prescriptions you may need during your vacation.

What are the sizes of the various types of mobile homes?

 

The Giotto mobile home is 8.30 m x 3m, Botticelli is 8 m x 5m and Leonardo 8.30 x 4. Some villages also have bungalow type mobile homes which are smaller, and have a bathroom with shower.  These are suitable for 2 or 3 people.

Do any of the mobile homes have three bedrooms?

 

Yes, the Leonardo mobile home, which can be found at the Fabulous, Park Albatros and Altomincio Family park Camping Villages.  The Camping Norcenni Girasole Club also has some 3 bedroom apartments.

How big are the beds in the accommodation?

 

The size of the beds can vary from one place to another, up to a length of 2m.

Do all the mobile homes have a veranda or deck?

 

All ECV mobile homes normally have a wooden veranda or deck.  To find out more, check the details of the accommodation you have booked directly on the website.

Do all types of accommodation have a refrigerator?

 

Yes, and most of them also have a small freezer.

Does all the accommodation have heating or air conditioning?

 

Nearly all our accommodation has air conditioning and heating.  To find out more, please check the details of the accommodation you have chosen on the ECV website.  However, please note that air conditioning is not always included in the price.  Any additional costs are mentioned in the “prices” section of our website.

How many people can stay in the ECV accommodation?

 

Our accommodation is designed for a maximum of six people.

Do the photos showing the inside of the accommodation featured in the brochure and on the website truly reflect what I will find in the accommodation I have booked?

 

The photos showing the interior of our accommodation are representative of the same although there may be variations according to the year of production.  The accommodation may differ with regard to the furniture or the upholstery and coverings.
