Elite Club Vacanze (ECV) and Figline Agriturismo have been working in the leisure industry since 1982, when the Cardini- Vannucchi families bought a small campsite near Florence. This has been developed into one of the most famous campsites in Italy, Norcenni Girasole Club.

The Cardini-Vannuchi families consist of 3 brothers and a sister who with the support of their spouses and parents moved away from the textile industry in Prato in 1982.

The lifestyle change started with the move to rural Tuscany and encapsulated the long held family passion for spending time with their families and camping.

The move to Figline Valdarno allowed the family to start working towards the common goal of creating a campsite with a unique family atmosphere. They have successfully achieved this and at the same time expanded the family with the birth of a second generation.

With success has come expansion. The second generation are now in their 20's and 30's and are an integral part of the companies operation and often are now the public face of the expanded business.

At present the group owns and manages 8 campsites in Italy with 2 near Venice, 3 in and around Rome, 2 in or near Florence and one on the Tuscan coast. In total these properties offer nearly 6000 beds and 2000 camping pitches for caravans, campers and tents.

The 90's saw the launch of Elle Vacanze, a company that provides holiday accommodation in Spain, France, Italy and Croatia with just under 1000 luxury mobile homes in 23 of the best European campsites and resorts.

As part of an ongoing expansion into the tourism and leisure sector the family manage several restaurants and theatre restaurants. The former offer dinner shows that later in the evening transform into nightclubs.

Our latest projects are the development of an exclusive residence in Tuscany, Villa Palagina along with realisation of two luxury hostels.

The first PLUS Hostel opened in 2007 in Prague and the second in the centre of Florence in March 2008. The Hostels both have over 100 various sized en-suite rooms along with bigger dorm rooms. The both offer accommodation for up to 500 guests and facilities include, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, heated swimming pools, gyms saunas, and steam rooms.

The passion for spending time with the family still remains and serves to strengthen the search for the ultimate quality holiday experience for everyone to enjoy.
