During high season our minibuses depart at 9am and 11am dropping you into the centre of town and will pick you up at the end of the day at 5pm/7pm. During low season one bus departs at 10am returning at 6pm. Return tickets available from reception. Gardens Of Villa D'Este - Tivoli Villa D'Este, masterpiece of the Italian Garden, is included in the UNESCO world heritage list. With its impressive concentration of fountains, nymphs, grottoes, plays of water, and music, it constitutes a much-copied model for European gardens in the mannerist and baroque styles. Group tours must be booked in advance or hire an audio guide and take yourself. Orvieto - the township is 125km north of Rome on the Roma-Milano train line. This settlement has its origins going back 3000 years and casts a spectacular skyline on approach rising 1000 feet above the Paglia valley. The town boasts one of the best examples of Italian gothic architecture with its spectacular cathedral. If you arrive at the base of the city walls there is a funicular to get you to the top without too much exertion. Pompei & Vesuvius - Imagine walking through a Roman house that looks like the inhabitants have only just stepped out. Walls, floors and frescoes that belie their true age, shops and homes that appear untouched even though they are nearly two thousand years old.
