For 30 years the Elite Club Vacanze Group has operated within the Tourist industry, beginning in the early '80s when the Cardini Vanucchi family, made up of four siblings and their spouses, bought a small campsite near Florence, Norcenni Girasole Club, which they transformed into one of the best known campsites in Europe today.

From these small beginnings the family run group expanded, eventually owning and operating nine campsites in Italy, in Tuscany, near Venice, by Lake Garda and around Rome.

In the 90's the group created the Elle Vacanze brand, the branch of the company that offers luxury mobile homes in Italy, Spain and Croatia.

After Elle, PLUS was developed, the ECV brand for youth tourism, which resulted in the creation of the hostels PLUS Prague, PLUS Florence and PLUS Berlin.

The groups continuing work in the fields of tourism, leisure and restaurants has lead ECV to run restaurants in Florence, restaurant-theatres in Florence and Rome and the hotel Villa la Palagina, a villa immersed in the heart of Tuscany.
